Edge Loyalty Program Rules
Promotion Name: Edge
Edge is a rewards program offering a range of benefits, including access to restricted freeroll tournaments, the Monthly Edge Leaderboards and Edge Rewards cash payments, to eligible Full Tilt Poker players. Edge players also keep the Full Tilt Points they earn, which can be used in the Full Tilt Store or to buy in to Full Tilt Points tournaments. Players achieve Edge status levels by maintaining a variety of rolling Full Tilt Points averages:
Edge Status Requirements
|Status Level||30-day Rolling Average (FTPs)||100-day Rolling Average (FTPs)|
When a player reaches a new Edge status level, they will receive a pop-up notifying them of their status and, if they have achieved Silver status or higher, detailing the rate at which they will earn Edge Rewards, followed by a Welcome Email.
All Edge status holders (Bronze status through Black Card status) are eligible to register for the daily Edge freeroll tournaments. The starting time for each tournament will alternate from day to day; players without an Edge status are restricted from entering:
- Daily at either 15:05 ET or 21:05 ET – prize pool consists of Tournament Dollars (T$) with a total value of $500
- Daily at either 15:05 ET or 21:05 ET – prize pool consists of Ring Game Tickets with a total value of $500
Bronze status players can register for two exclusive freeroll tournaments taking place each Sunday at 09:45 ET and 17:45 ET. The starting time for each tournament will alternate from week to week; players without an Edge status or those of Silver status or higher are restricted from entering:
- Sundays at either 09:45 ET or 17:45 ET, Bronze Status Freeroll – prize pool consists of Tournament Dollars (T$) with a total value of $1,000
- Sundays at either 09:45 ET or 17:45 ET, Bronze Status Freeroll – prize pool consists of Ring Game Tickets with a total value of $1,000
Edge Rewards cash payments
Edge Rewards are paid directly into eligible players’ accounts once per week. If a player moves between status levels during the qualifying period, their Edge Reward may be calculated based on different rates. If a player drops below Silver status requirements during this period, they will still be entitled to any Edge Reward earned beforehand.
Conversion of Full Tilt Points to Cash
Black Card players with a 100-day rolling points average of 500 Full Tilt Points or higher can convert their points – both those accumulated over time and newly acquired – directly to cash at a rate of $1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points, in addition to continuing to earn weekly Edge Rewards cash payments at the highest rate possible.
Full Tilt Points acquired on a weekly basis can be converted automatically, while points accumulated over time can be converted manually via the Convert Full Tilt Points dialog, accessible via the Cashier.
Players who do not earn Black Card status by virtue of their 100-day rolling points average and are awarded Black Card status are not eligible to manually convert their Full Tilt Points.
Black Card Pro Sponsorship Program
Players who hold Black Card status and opt in to the Monthly Edge Leaderboards automatically participate in the Black Card Pro sponsorship program and compete across a variety of Black Card Leaderboards over the course of four-month qualifying periods.
Only the best three months' results per qualifying period will be taken into account when calculating each player's final Black Card Leaderboards standings.
At the end of each qualifying period, a four-month Black Card Pro sponsorship contract will be offered to the highest ranked eligible player on each Black Card Leaderboard.
A Black Card Pro sponsorship contract is made up of the following elements:
- 100% cashback on all cash game rake and tournament fees paid at Full Tilt Poker during the four-month term of the contract
- Exclusive Black Card Pro merchandise
Players do not need to hold Black Card status or opt in to the Monthly Edge Leaderboards to compete on the FTOPS Leaderboard and MiniFTOPS Leaderboard.
Individual players will only be offered one sponsorship contract per qualifying period.
Monthly Edge Leaderboards and Black Card Leaderboards
All Edge players can participate in the Monthly Edge Leaderboards. Players must opt in and can compete across a variety of different game types and stake levels to win cash prizes and Edge status level upgrades. Players must hold an Edge status level for at least a portion of the month to feature on that month's leaderboards.
After opting in, Edge status holders' play will be automatically tracked and Player IDs listed on the Monthly Edge Leaderboards as appropriate.
Players who opt in mid-month and hold an Edge status level for at least a portion of the month will have all of their play during that month taken into account for the purposes of the leaderboards.
Players that opt out or drop below Bronze status will not have their Player ID listed on future leaderboards and cannot win Monthly Edge Leaderboard prizes, but their previous play remains tracked and their Player IDs will be listed on existing and archived leaderboards as appropriate.
Players holding Black Card status and opted in to the Monthly Edge Leaderboards take part in the Black Card Leaderboards and compete for Black Card Pro sponsorship contacts, based on their ring game and tournament results during a four-month qualifying period.
All eligible players can compete for Black Card Pro sponsorship contracts, without needing to hold an Edge status level or opt in to the Monthly Edge Leaderboards, by taking part in the FTOPS Leaderboard and MiniFTOPS Leaderboard.
Rolling Points Averages
A player’s rolling Full Tilt Points averages are calculated using all base Full Tilt Points earned between 00:00 ET and 23:59 ET during the following periods:
- 30-day average: The previous 29 days plus the current day
- 100-day average: The previous 99 days plus the current day
Please note that bonus points earned in promotions such as Happy Hour and the Black Card Pro sponsorship program do not count towards the rolling points average.
Eligibility and Limitations
All players must meet Full Tilt Poker's eligibility requirements, and Full Tilt Poker reserves the right to modify these rules at any time, and for any reason, at its sole discretion.
