Promotion Name: Full Tilt Poker Tournament Leaderboards
Promotion Dates: Ongoing
Full Tilt Poker will offer Tournament Leaderboards where online players will compete to earn prizes, based on their tournament results. Players will have the opportunity to earn points on seven separate Leaderboards:
- SNG (High Limit)
- SNG (Low Limit)
- Heads Up SNG (Highest Limit)
- Heads Up SNG (High Limit)
- Heads Up SNG (Medium Limit)
- Heads Up SNG (Low Limit)
Only the top 2,500 players will be ranked on the Multi-Table Tournament or Sit & Go Tournament Leaderboards, while only the top 500 players will be ranked on the Heads Up Leaderboards.
Multi-Table and SNG Leaderboards
Players will earn points, based on their finish, in each tournament they play. Points will only be awarded to players finishing in the top 50% of the field. For example, in a tournament with 30 players, only the players finishing in 1st through 15th position will be eligible to receive Leaderboard points.
Players may use our Calculator page to determine the amount of points they can earn in a given tournament. Please note, the Calculator page does not apply to Heads Up Leaderboards. See below for information on how Heads Up Leaderboard points are calculated.
For the purposes of this promotion, a Low-Limit SNG is considered to be a tournament with a buy-in of $26 or less. A High-Limit SNG is a tournament of $26 or more. SNG tournaments with buy-ins of exactly $26 will be calculated on both Leaderboards. See below for Heads Up SNG Leaderboard limits.
The buy-in includes both the tournament entry and the tournament fee. For example, for a $50 + $5 tournament the buy-in is $55.
SNG tournaments with more than 30 players will count toward the MTT Leaderboard, while SNG tournaments with 30 or fewer players will count toward the SNG Leaderboards. Heads-up SNGs and four-player SNGs will count toward the Heads Up SNG Leaderboards.
Please note that any SNGs where players start with 500 chips or less, only half the regular amount of Leaderboard points will be awarded.
Heads Up Sit & Go Leaderboard Rules
For the purposes of this promotion, a Low-Limit Heads Up SNG is considered to be a tournament with a buy-in of less than $5. A Medium-Limit Heads Up SNG is a tournament with a buy-in from $5 to $19. A High-Limit Heads Up SNG is a tournament with a buy-in from $20 to $49. A Highest-Limit Heads Up SNG is a tournament with a buy-in of $50 or more.
Heads Up Leaderboard points are accumulated based on the diversity of players you defeat in Heads Up play. The more opponents you beat, the more Leaderboard points you earn.
Standard Heads Up Sit & Gos count as one (1) Leaderboard point for the winner and none (0) for the loser based on the cumulative number of games played between any two opponents in the qualifying Leaderboard period.
For example, if two players have played a Heads Up Sit & Go against each other, the winner receives one Leaderboard point and the loser none. If those same two players have played three Heads Up Sit & Gos against each other, the player with two wins gets one Leaderboard point, and the player with one win gets no Leaderboard points.
If any two players are tied (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc.), both players receive 0.5 Leaderboard points.
Four-player Heads Up Sit & Go Double Shootouts
In Four-player Heads Up Sit & Go Double Shootouts, the cumulative record of all four participating players will be affected by the result. Players will earn points for the Heads Up SNG Leaderboards based on the following calculations:
- Player A: 1st place
- Player B: 2nd place
- Player C: 3rd place
- Player D: 4th place
Player A receives one (1) point in the cumulative record against player B and one half (1/2) point against Players C and D.
Player B receives one half (1/2) point in the cumulative record against Players C and D.
If one player leads another by half a point in their cumulative Head Up record, that player receives 0.5 Leaderboard points, and the other receives none.
Super Turbo Heads Up Sit & Gos
Super Turbo Heads Up Sit & Gos, where players start with 500 chips or less, award one half (1/2) point, rather than one point, towards the two players’ cumulative record.
Four-player Super Turbo Heads Up Double Shootouts award points the same way as regular four-player Heads Up Double Shootouts.
Eight-player Heads Up Triple Shootouts count towards the standard SNG Leaderboards.
At the end of the qualifying period, prizes will be awarded to eligible players based on their ranking on each Leaderboard. Prizes will be credited to winning players’ accounts within seven (7) days of the ending of the qualifying period.
Please note that as of August 1, 2011, all Multi-Table Tournaments and non-Heads Up Sit & Go Leaderboard points, prize payouts and custom Leaderboards are now calculated using buy-in amounts, as shown below. The buy-in includes both the tournament entry and the tournament fee.
From May 2008 through July 2011, all Multi-Table Tournaments and non-Heads Up Sit & Go Leaderboard calculations were based solely on tournament entry, rather than on buy-in.
Prior to May 2008, the following formulas were used to calculate Leaderboard scores:
Non-Heads Up Sit & Gos
