Live online Ultimate Texas Hold’em

If you’re already a fan of Texas Hold’em you might be drawn to Live online Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Instead of taking on other players at the green felt, you’ll take on the dealer head-to-head in a thrilling five-card poker variant. You won’t have to bluff; you’ll just need to use your poker intuition to try to beat the dealer and increase your stack.

Game Rules

In Live online Ultimate Texas Hold’em the best five-card hand wins the pot, just like in regular Hold’em. To begin, players place both ante and blind bets. An optional Trips bonus bet can also be placed at this stage. Throughout the hand there are three chances to make a raise, known as a ‘play bet’. But only one play bet can be made per hand.

Players are dealt two cards face-up. The dealer receives two cards face-down. The player has two choices: check or raise. If the player decides to raise, this is known as a play bet. At this stage, the play bet can be either 3x or 4x the value of the ante.

After this, the flop is dealt. This consists of three community cards which can be used by both the player and the dealer. If the player did not make a play bet pre-flop, they can make one at this stage for 2x the ante. Or they can check.

The fourth and fifth community cards — the turn and river — are now dealt. If the player has not made a play bet until this stage, they will have two options: make a play bet which matches the ante, or fold.

If the dealer has not made a qualifying hand (a pair or better):

All players still in the hand will have their ante bets returned. If the player’s hand is better than the dealer’s, blind and play bets will be settled as per the payout tables. You can see the payout tables on our Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em Rules page. If the dealer’s hand is better than the player’s, the player will not receive a payout for the blind or pay bets. If the hands are equal, blind and pay bets are returned to the player.

If the dealer has made a qualifying hand (a pair or better):

Players will lose their ante, blind and play bets if they can’t beat the dealer’s hand. If the player’s hand does still beat the dealer’s hand, bets will be settled as per the payout tables which you can see on our Rules page. If both hands are tied, all bets are returned to the player except for Trips bonus bets, which are settled separately.

The theoretical return to player (RTP) for Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em is 97.82%.

The theoretical return to player (RTP) for the Trips bonus bet in Live Ultimate Texas Hold’em is 98.10%.
