New to the Game tables now available
Full Tilt Poker has launched New to the Game tables, which have been designed to let players experience the online poker room’s wide range of poker games in a welcoming environment, with an emphasis on providing as much information as possible during each hand.
New to the Game ring game tables and tournaments cover the smallest stake levels offered and gameplay proceeds at a slower pace than at standard tables, with extra tooltips that offer information on key aspects of the game and players’ options at the table. Additionally, players’ current hand strength is always displayed, helping them recognize how their hand ranking changes as new cards are dealt.
All existing Full Tilt Poker players are eligible to access these tables, with each player’s ongoing eligibility impacted by the number of New to the Game ring game hands or tournaments played since the feature was launched.
Escalator Tournaments, 5-Card Stud and Irish now offered by Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker now features a variety of new poker game and tournament types.
Escalator Tournaments are an exciting take on the traditional tournament format, with the duration of the blind levels gradually increasing in length as the game progresses. For example, an Escalator Tournament might begin with blinds set at 15/30 for five minutes, with the 20/40 level lasting for six minutes, the 25/50 level lasting for seven minutes, and each subsequent blind level lasting for one minute longer than its predecessor.
Players can now sit down at 5-Card Stud or Irish tables, two new poker varieties added to Full Tilt Poker's game offering. One of the oldest poker games, 5-Card Stud plays similarly to Stud Hi (7-Card Stud), with players receiving a total of five cards during the hand. Irish is a variant of Hold'em in which players are dealt four hole cards instead of two pre-flop, two of which must be discarded after the flop round of betting.
All of the above game and tournament types are now available in the poker software.
Updated Tournament Guarantees at Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker’s scheduled tournaments offer round-the-clock action every day of the week with a wide range of buy-ins and guaranteed prize pools to choose from. Players have even more incentive to go for tournament glory, as all regularly scheduled tournaments now feature guaranteed prize money.
The tournament list – available both in the game software and on the Full Tilt Poker website – has been improved, with tournament names and prize pool amounts clearer and the color-coding scheme enhanced to ensure tournament types are easier to identify.
